WEM665W brings precise and efficient cooking to smaller kitchen spaces with a 24" footprint. The cooking surface features four induction zones, while the large electric oven offers nearly 3 cu.ft. of cooking space for baking and broiling. It has a recessed oven door and is conveniently sized at just 24" deep. This range requires professional installation.Unlike radiant heating, induction technology utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware; the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. The front left and rear right elements are sized at 8 1/4", ideal for boiling large pots of water or cooking with woks and other large cookware. The digital display shows which elements are in use and their power setting. Audible beeps sound when the touch controls are activated. A timer function lets you program a power level and cook time that can either turn the unit off when complete, or serve as a visual countdown with an audible alert when the set time has been reached. Safety features include automatic shutdown, child lock, overheat protection, and overflow protection.This model's oven includes an interior light and window to keep your cooking in view. Two adjustable racks make it easy to accommodate a variety of sizes. The waist-high broiler inside the oven allows you to switch functions without moving contents to a separate compartment.
